Queen Esther Jewelry Box Craft

This is a craft idea for "Queen Esther" Sunday School lesson. A Jewelry Box made out of craft foam.
We made these with our younger elementary group (which happens to be mostly girls).
They filled the boxes they decorated with plastic gemstones, bead necklaces, and plastic rings. They loved it!
I thought this verse was perfect for this lesson:
"Braiding your hair doesn’t make you beautiful. Wearing gold jewelry or fine clothes doesn’t make you beautiful. Instead, your beauty comes from inside you. It is the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. Beauty like that doesn’t fade away. God places great value on it." 1 Peter 3:3-4

Fruits of the Spirit Cupcake Toppers

This is one of those projects that I really enjoyed making but for one reason or the other had not been able to complete...until now!
These 2 inch circles can be used as party favor tags, cupcake toppers, or even tie together to make a cute mini bunt banner.

Fruits of the Spirit Cupcake Topper:

Materials:
1. Color card stock paper
2. Scissors
3. Glue stick or double sided tape
4. 2" circle paper punch (available at craft supply stores)
5. 2-1/4" scalloped paper punch (available online and at craft supply stores)
6. PDF file Fruits of the Spirit by HoneyBops on Etsy
7. Printer
8. Toothpicks

Instructions:
Print the PDF file at 100% on white card stock paper.
Cut sheet into three separate columns.
Using the 2 inch circle punch cut out each circle.
Cut out scalloped circles in different colors out of the color card stock.
Attach toothpicks with glue/tape between the back and the top circle. Using a glue stick or double sided tape attach the circles to the color card stock scalloped circles (Tip: Try using contrasting colors. For example use red card stock for the backing of the blue gingham circles).

That's it!
